Congratulations to our friends and wonderful Elkhorn Rotarians Amanda Kostman and John Merchlewitz who celebrated their marriage in East Troy on Saturday, September 13, 2025!!!!
In true Rotary fashion, they still plan on being at our next meeting on Wednesday, September 17th with their Rotary Friendship Exchange guests, Maria and Jesper, who came from Sweden for the wedding. Best wishes on a wonderful life together, John and Amanda! We can't wait to celebrate you!

Community Recreation
Rotarian and Elkhorn Recreation Director Karl Sorvick shared the facility community usage data and Summer programming outcomes for area adults and youth on September 10, 2025. Karl's team has had tremendous success offering low-cost wrap-around daycare and soccer for Elkhorn youth, and has plans to further expand their weekly Summer Camp to meet area demand.
We're looking forward to the upcoming Beast Feast weekend at the Elkhorn Band Shell in Sunset Park from October 24-26th!

Shelly and Heidi are asking for volunteers to help promote the Coats for Kids program and sell 12 Days of Christmas raffle tickets at the Elkhorn Craft Fair on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9:00am-4:00pm at the Walworth County Fairgrounds. Please chat with them if you are able to help.
BOARD MEETING TIME/LOCATION CHANGE: The next board meeting is Wednesday, September 17th at 10:30am in the Advia Credit Union community room to meet our district governor, Liz Nevitt. She's also our guest at Wednesday's regular meeting to meet everyone!

Signups are now open to assist with the Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk for Rotary on Saturday morning, October 18, 2025! We need water station attendants, course helpers, and folks to help cheer on our participants. Can you volunteer? Click below to help encourage a fun community event.
Our "Operation Warm" program has a new name but serves the same goal to supply free coats, hats, and gloves to Elkhorn Pre-K through 5th grade children. This year's distribution days will be on October 11 and November 8, 2025.
