The 60’s Themed Shenanigans fundraiser was held on Jan 25th…. and it was a “gas”! (fun time had by all!) Thank you to all who volunteered their time or donated for the cork pull / silent auction. Preliminary fundraising updates are coming in with the Cork Pull raising just over $400 and the Silent Auction bringing in just over $2000. More information will be available at meetings later this month.
Food in a Backpack Program – Rotary volunteers needed
Four people are needed to organize the food by bagging and distributing the food to the elementary schools in February. Volunteers meet in the school cafeteria at 1:45. Please bring a photo ID and check in at the school office. Dates include:

The VIP Bowlathon which will be held on March 2nd @ Delavan Lanes…
Let’s help sponsor our team. In the past our very own Rotarian bowling team has raised $500 a year for VIP through this event. If interested in sponsoring the bowling team, checks can be made out to VIP. The team will begin bowlin at 3:00 on March 2nd if you want to show your support. Today’s bucket collection, after passed around twice, will go toward the team’s fundraiser.

Dancing for a New Beginning - Walworth County Rotary Clubs fundraiser will be on March 30th. Sponsors are needed and tickets will be $50 each for the formal event.
Elkhorn Rotary Club 50th Anniversary Celebration: May 3rd & May 4th
Club members past and present will celebrate on the evening of May 3rd this great milestone. On Saturday, May 4th we will be celebrating with the community as we mark 50 years of community involvement and sponsorship. Volunteers will be needed for the community event on May 4th with shifts running from 7:40 - 10:00, 10:00 - 1:00, and 1:00 - 4:00. Food Trucks, a stage (sponsored by Mercy Health), Jump Castles and “Rotary Row” will be part of the day’s events. More information will be forthcoming in the weeks ahead.
