We celebrated Dawn Heath’s birthday with a cake and singing “Happy Birthday”.
Bryan Iwicki reported he attended President-Elect training. Dawn thanked those who helped the last two weeks with the Food & Backpack program. Sgt-at-Arms, Karen, talked to us about our Rotary year in 1995. Bill Campbell reported that the bowling event last weekend raised over $1,400 for VIP Services.
Our speaker was Jesse from Adams Electric. They bought the old Sentry building on Wisconsin Street last summer and have been renovating it. They just moved in last weekend and went from an 8,000 SqFt building to 30,000 square feet. They are looking to sell or lease their old building behind Kunes. In the new store they will have retail for the community, Smart Home/Workplace showrooms and a Generac retail showroom with generators. They also have Adams Academy, a training facility for electricians and skilled trades. They work with Gateway Technical College to provide education and have apprentice programs. They are planning an Open House the first week in May.
