On Wednesday, October 22, the Membership Committee hosted an information and listening session for both new and tenured club members at Friends on the Square in downtown Elkhorn. Members had the opportunity to hear more about the club's past successes, the global impact of Rotary International, and then listen as new members shared their interests and reasons for joining.
A common goal voiced amongst members present was for the club to achieve a greater balance between fundraising and boots-on-the-ground community support. The Membership Committee will utilize the gathered information to engage with new members and the Board of Directors will review their suggestions for 2026.
A big thanks to Kelly for hosting the event, Ted, Bill, and Mariann for moderating the discussion, and to everyone who was able to attend for the betterment and future of our club.

The Rotary Board is amending the club's bylaws as recommended by Rotary International for 2025-28. It will be passed around at upcoming meetings and voted on at our November 19 meeting.
