Elkhorn Rotary Community Christmas Concert Wednesday
The construction work at the Matheson Memorial Library isn't going to stop the Rotary from bringing some holiday cheer to the public! With the gracious support from Wedige Automotive, the Rotary will be hosting the Elkhorn Area High School choir and bell choir for a free lunchtime concert for the public at the Sprague Theatre at 15 W. Walworth Street.
The club will meet for lunch on Wednesday, December 17 downstairs at the VFW Hall at 16 S. Broad Street at 11:30am for lunch and a short meeting, then we'll walk over to the Sprague for our usual holiday concert from 12:30-1:15pm.
On Wednesday, December 10, we received a year-end recap from City of Elkhorn Administrator Adam Swann and forecast for 2026. Adam shared more details about the four housing developments in the works around town, the revitalization efforts taken downtown, and information on the latest tax increment district in our community.
He also mentioned the 100th Anniversary of the Band Shell, citywide elections in the Spring, upcoming resurfacing of West Centralia Street, and need for an updated Comprehensive Plan next year.
