Ashley, from the Pregnancy Helpline of Walworth County, spoke to the Rotary Club about their services. She has been working there since last October and has a background as a police officer and was previously a detective. They offer an education curriculum, prenatal and parenting classes. They also offer help with life skills like financial budgeting and finding housing.  They have volunteers who help in the office, as mentors to pregnant women, and with fundraising. Women can earn “money” by going to their classes to spend in their Baby Boutique, which has many new and gently used items. They are a faith-based organization and many churches support them. Safe Families of Wisconsin is a partner and they give referrals there. They are located downtown next to Wishing Well.
