Club Assembly
Dawn shared the goals she has set for the club during her tenure. She also shared the Rotary Budget 2018-2019.

Please keep an eye out for emails about the event. It's in Elkhorn this year and our goal is to have a strong showing from our club to support this event.
AC from Denmark, is the inbound exchange student this year. She is loving Elkhorn so far. AC is getting to know a lot of people and has joined the cheerleading team. Last weekend AC tried her first s'more over the campfire.
Dan W- last flea market parking is Sunday September 30th. We are going to need at least 10-15 people per shift due to the new access routes. After this year we will have to reevaluate if the club wants to continue this responsibility and if its worth the $2,700 per year we receive.
New Service Project- Dawn
Backpack and food distribution to the local schools. We would partner with the VFW, and helps distribute food to kids in need. Time commitment would be 45 minutes for two Fridays every eight weeks. It starts October 19th and is open to all students if they apply. The food is already purchased, manpower is needed for distribution.
A Human Trafficking and sexual assault awareness event with several speakers this January, Thursday the 10th. So please be aware of this event so we can help promote this event. The board has approved $250 for advertising for this event. Self defense classes are also in the works to provide to the community. Right now the plan is to try and make those classes free for participants.
